Nina Duval (she/her) is sassy, energetic and fun. She specializes in “unmanageable” thick waves and curls. With over 10 years experience, Nina is your go to girl when you want to feel like your best self.
Nina started her hair journey at a young age. She completed 3 years of work experience in salons, prior to graduating from Blanche Macdonald in 2008. Nina has worked at Elevation Hair Studio for the past decade, as well as various salons while traveling through Australia. She has advanced training with Kevin Murphy, Wella, and Redken. Education is a big passion for Nina and she is always up to date on the newest trends and techniques.
With her big bold personality, Nina is not one to shy away from a challenge. Bright and bizarre or natural and soft. Nina has extensive product knowledge and is trained in all aspects of color. She loves working with curly hair, and thick long mermaid hair. She also specializes in event styling. The show never stops for this one!
Why she loves Specializing in bridal and event styling so much is because it lets her connect her passion to the person. She gets to know her clients to provide a one of a kind look that reflects their style and personality for their special.
In her spare time you can find Nina in the kitchen, on the golf course, or relaxing at the spa. She a big kitty and doggy dog lover. Her family, friends and friends are very important to her. Being a whistler local she is lucky to be surrounded by many of them.
